We have a pretty pink detached home set in a quiet road very near to Chichester Harbour and 5 mins drive to West Wittering Beach, it takes 20 minutes to Chichester and has a great bus service 5 mins walk away. Ideal for young children - the front gate can be closed and there is a secure new Sussex fence in the back garden backing onto an orchard/field. Our house is newly decorated and is only 15 years old, the garden has a large table + seating and BBQ. Both neighbours are middle aged+ and very friendly but you see little of them. We have a delightful 13 year old son and he would like to take a 13 year old friend with us when we go away. We have a new extended modern large kitchen with sofa overlooking the garden. Dining room, sitting room with log burner and a downstairs loo, plus utility room next to the kitchen. I would prefer not to swap with pet owners if pets are in the house but smokers are free to smoke in the garden. I also would appreciate swapping with a fairly house proud family as our house is pretty well looked after, though the carpets need replacing but are not unpleasant in any way. We have travertine flooring mostly downstairs and the en suite adjoining the master bedroom has a wooden floor. The family bathroom is not carpeted either. We have a children's playroom/study with TV and X-box plus computer and sofa bed. I have very successfully house swapped in the USA and France though sadly the British experience was the only negative swap, a tired and grubby house plus their children broke a wardrobe at a previous house of ours, such a shame as in principle I think house swapping is a wonderful idea ! We love to entertain and our greatest pleasures are going away and eating out. I am very happy to recommend excellent pubs and restaurants locally. Please be assured we will treasure your house like we do our own !
