We have a gorgeous light Victorian house on three floors, with a roof terrace and small garden. There's a huge kitchen, which is the hub of the house, with two sofas and an aga. Upstairs there is a tranquil double sitting room with a piano. Our house sleeps 5 or 6: a double rooms, one bunkbedded children's room (complete with toys), a single room (with small double bed), and a spare mattress!
It's in a quiet neighbourhood, opposite a small park and next to the thriving neighbourhoods of Queens Park and West Hampstead with vibrant cafes and restaurants and a fabulous Irish music scene. It's just one minute's walk to the renowned local cinema/theatre, the Tricycle (described by Vogue as the "most beautiful cinema in London"). It's easy to get quickly to the West End, South Bank and the City as there are superb underground and train links.
We're a family of three - James, myself (Ondine) and our 8 year old daughter, who usually likes to travel with a friend. We are easygoing and relaxed, and having done two houseswaps, really enjoy the whole experience. We particularly love going to beautiful parts of the countryside, or being in an old town or by the sea. We are open to offers for longer stays during school holidays as well as weekend breaks and half-term swaps. We would look after your home as if it was ours, cherishing your belongings, and any pets (oh, yes, I forgot - we have a friendly tabby cat called Monkey).
