Detached house, 5 minute walk from the beach. We have beamed ceilings, wooden floors and a large woodburning stove. It has a large modern kitchen/diner, study/play room, toilet/shower downstairs. Upstairs are two double and one single bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet. There are a few steps up to the front and rear doors and several different levels on the ground and first floors making it tricky for people with mobility problems. We are 5 mins walk from Goring beach and greensward which is fast becoming the south's centre for kiting, para-kiting, windsurfing etc. It is quite a spectical! Worthing itself is quiet but has a pier, the Dome Cinema (grade11 listed Edwardian cinema, one of the oldest working cinemas in the country) swimming pool, Brooklands Park which has go-carting, golf, putting, miniature train, pony rides etc. . If you are looking for more excitement, we are only half hours drive to Brighton & Hove which has everything you could possibly want plus more! Also , very nearby is West Wittering(sandy beach and dunes) Arundel Castle (seat of Dukes of Norfolk) Fishbourne Roman Palace Excavations, Racing and motor sports at Goodwood & Fontwell, Butlins at Bognor Regis (great day out for the children) South Downs National park with Cissbury Ring, Chanctonbury Ring, Devils Dyke, Jack & Jill Windmills, walks, horseriding, cycling etc, Borde Hill Gdns, A little bit further is The Weald & Downland open air museum of historic buildings (you have to see it, a fantastic award winning place for every age),The Bluebell Steam Railway and so much more. A ten min. drive and you are up on the South Downs National Park, so we are between the Downs and the sea. London is approx 1 hour by rail from our local station. all this and -Top of the English Sunshine Table too!! see http://www.goring-by-sea.com/
