This is an old terraced house in a picturesque village. The front is on the village high street and we have a very nice garden to the rear. Downstairs we have a livingroom, dining room and kitchen. Upstairs, 2 single bedrooms, one double and one bathroom with bath and separate shower. The garden is well stocked and private and a nice place to sit out and relax
All of life's necessities are a short walk from the front door of our house. Shops, library and post office practically on the doorstep. The village has 2 great pubs, one with regular live music and a restaurant which also hosts music events. Just around the corner is the loch which is part of Muirsheil Country Park. Windsurfing, sailing and canooing are available here as well as bike hire. A National Cycle Network cycle track runs through the village, allowing long distance cycling without going on roads. The train station is a pleasant 15 minute walk through park and past loch and RSPB bird reserve.
Glasgow is 20 mins by train, Edinburgh 1hr. Lochwinnoch is well placed for day trips to the Trossachs, Ayrshire (Turnberry 40 mins and Argyll.
