We are the Manson Family who are: David and Alison. We have 2 children - Ailsa is 11 and Harris is 8 years old.

Our home is a 100 year old terraced house on four floors, with high ceilings, fireplaces and other period features.

The front door opens on to an entrance hallway and on the ground floor is the lounge, dining area and kitchen.

The lounge has an open fire, TV, DVD and video. The dining area has a fireplace with gas fire and the kitchen includes all appliances - dishwasher, electric & gas oven, gas hob and fridge.

Downstairs is a play/TV room with XBox Kinect gaming system and a small library of DVD's. There is a downstairs toilet and a small utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and fridge/freezer.

Upstairs is a double bedroom and a study/spare room with a sofa bed. In the bathroom there is a shower over the bath.

On the floor above this are 2 children's bedrooms with sloping roofs. One bedroom has a single bed, the other has a high bed.

While you are staying at our home you can have the use of our 4 bikes (if we don't take them with us).

At the back there is a garage and garden with a small lawn. We have a barbeque for days when the weather is warm. The neighbours are all friendly.

We don't have any pets (David is allergic unfortunately) and we don't smoke, so if you feel the same way then you may be ideal exchangers.

Ailsa and Harris would like to exchange with someone of a similar age - they would love all the new toys to play with!

We would be interested in UK exchanges for school holidays.

Our house in Menston is in the heart of the village around the corner from 2 pubs, the newsagent and the village bakery. We have a view to the front over looking the church.

The railway station, with regular trains to Leeds and Bradford is a 5-10 minute walk away and bus services are frequent with stops a 5 minute walk away.

Menston is a West Yorkshire village situated between the bustling city of Leeds to the south and the beautiful spa town of Harrogate to the north. We are right on the edge of where busy Leeds finishes and countryside begins. You don't have to travel too far to take in all the delights of surrounding Yorkshire.

There is plenty of scope for walking, with Ilkley Moor (baht'at!) virtually on our doorstep - you don't have to get in the car to reach it.

If visiting museums, art galleries and theatres are on your holiday list, then Bradford, Leeds and also the Hockney Gallery at the world heritage village of Saltaire are only a short train ride away. Also, not far away is the town of Haworth - made famous by the Brontë sisters.
