We live in the beautiful village of Kesh, set in rural County Fermanagh, in the north west of Ireland. Our home is one kilometre outside the village and Lough Erne - the largest inland waterway in Europe. There is plenty to do and see in Fermanagh - Belleek Pottery, Castle Archdale, Marble Arch caves, County town of Enniskillen with the award winning Ardhowen theatre, National Trust properties such as CastleCoole, Crom and Florencecourt, ruins of castles, pony trekking, golf (Lough Erne Golf Resort), fishing, water sports and walking.

If this is not enough to keep you occupied our home is also ideally situated to tour the rest of Northern Ireland - Giant's Causeway, Bushmills distillery, Sperrin mountains, Ulster American Folk Park. We also live 10 kilometres from County Donegal and close to Sligo and the west of Ireland. Belfast is 2 hours by car and 2.5 hours to Dublin.

Our home is a modern bungalow with sheltered garden and patio. It has a living room, kitchen, sun room, utility room, office, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathroom areas (one with jet bath) and nook area. There is also high speed internet access in 2 rooms. We have had more than 25 exchange partners share our home. The living room area is one of the main rooms in the house. It is centrally heated but also has an open fireplace which provides a cosy place to spend the evenings. A clavinova is also provided for some musical entertainment. It also has TV, video, DVD player with surround sound.

The fully fitted kitchen has an extended dining area and all of the modern conveniences. This includes dishwasher, oven, grill, microwave, hob, bread maker, fridge, freezer and television. The utility room has a sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and a steam ironing press. There is also a shower room off the utility room. A beautiful sunroom was added to the rear of the house in 1996. It is 4 metres by 6 metres in size. An old style stove in the corner adds character to the room. The doors open onto a patio area with BBQ and spacious garden totally sheltered from the road. The master bedroom was recently added when we extended our home. It has built-in wardrobes, TV, video, DVD player and an en-suite.

Our family consists of Mervyn (51) who is a Principal of a local school, Adele (slightly younger!) a Market Researcher. We also have 2 grouwn up children - Kim (22) and Christopher (19 but they will not travel with us). Adele's mum or 2 friends may accompany us if that is OK with you.

We have a Cavalier King Charles dog which we would like you to look after if possible, although he could travel with us with your permission. If none of this works out he can stay with relatives (ours not his!)
