Our house is a four storey Grade 2 listed Georgian townhouse located 100 yards from Clevedon's seafront and Victorian pier. There is a lounge, well stocked playroom and WC/cloakroom on the ground floor, a kitchen/breakfast room in the basement with access to the courtyard garden. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms each with their own ensuite. On the second floor there is a family bathroom, and one single bedroom and home office.
Clevedon is a delightful Victorian seaside town with a Grade 1 listed pier. There are pebble beaches, sailing club, marine lake and large playfields and playground adjacent to the seafront with donkey rides and small train rides during the summer. The pier beach is also great for crabbing at high tide. There are walks along the coast with great views towards Wales. The Hill Road shopping area has some great shops including an award winning delicatessan, restaurants, gift shops, clothes boutiques and an art gallery. The house is yards from a traditional pub, seafront cafes and a superb ice cream kiosk. Boat trips are available on certain dates from the end of the pier including trips to Wales, islands in the Severn Estuary, North Devon coast and into Bristol. There is a sports centre in Clevedon, two supermarkets and town centre where you can get anything you need. Bristol is only 20 miles away which is host to various events including the Bristol Balloon Fiesta and the Harbourside Festival (both of which are free events) in August. Bath and the Mendip Hills are also within driving distance. Yatton train station is less than 10 minutes by car from where you can get direct trains to Bristol, Bath, Weston-super-Mare, the west country and London.
