Jenny Wren is a charming one bedroom cottage in the picturesque Wensleydale town of Middleham in North Yorkshire. The town is renowned for it's history and racehorses. The Norman castle was once the home of Richard III. Middleham offers a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat. There is plenty to see and do within easy reach of the cottage including the market towns of Leyburn, Richmond, Masham and Hawes. Middleham is on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales where you will find lovely villages and breathtaking scenery. The historic city of York and the spa town of Harrogate are well worth visiting when you are in the area.
The cottage has been lovingly restored and makes an ideal romantic retreat for couples. Built in the early 1800's the property retains many of it's original features combining olde-worlde charm with modern and stylish amenities. The cottage has old oak beams and exposed stonework, it has a cosy sitting room with a feature stone fireplace and a wood burning stove. The living area is equipped with Freeview TV, DVD player, CD player and a small library of books, CD's and DVD's. There is also a selection of games for your enjoyment.
